JANUARY 6TH, 2017
On 1/5/2017 I had the opportunity to practice and coach a game at Fenway Park. I have been to Fenway games before, Winter Classic and a Hockey East Frozen Fenway a couple of years ago, but this was the first time I was able to go behind the scenes and get the whole experience.
Bentley played against Army West Point, and we were the home team which meant that we got dressed in the Red Sox locker room. As a Boston sports fan, it was a really cool experience for me. I never realized how big the Green Monster really is or how close the mound is to home plate.
I know that the whole outdoor games are becoming somewhat of a novelty, but it is pretty cool….
